What is the WAND Solution?
The 秘密研究所 WAND Solution is a cost-effective, scalable system that uses permanently installed sensors to provide accurate and repeatable ultrasonic wall thickness monitoring. Data can be collected either manually or remotely using WAND data collectors and analysed through our iDART software. This enables predictive maintenance, enhanced safety, and reduced inspection costs.
Step 1. Sensor Installation
The WAND TM Sensors are installed at locations on pipes or vessels. They can then be embedded under coatings, composite repairs and insulation.
Step 2. Data Collection & Transmission
The wall thickness data can be easily collected from the WAND TM Sensors wirelessly using the WAND handheld or remote data collector.
Step 3. Data Analysis & Integration
The wall thickness data and ultrasonic A-Scans are shown in the iDART software and can be used to determine accurate internal corrosion/erosion rates supporting predictive maintenance. The iDART software can be integrated with asset integrity management systems and other software platforms via an API.
